HAKATA Serving Platter

Hakata Serving Platter is part of our Japanese collection. Its reactive glazed finish brings a sophisticated and glamorous look to your dining table during normal dinners or special occasions. It comes in a Pacific Blue colour, and its fish scale design makes it resemble a fish’s body making it perfect for serving fish based appetizers and dishes. These platters are crafted manually and might have a slight variance in shape and colour.

Name history: Hakata Bay (博多湾, Hakata-wan) is a bay in the northwestern part of Fukuoka city, on the Japanese island of Kyūshū. Once a prominent merchant town. Hakata is known today as Fukuoka's business hub and international fishing port, but it also offers a wealth of culture and several major festivals.
